Anonymous - For the past two Sundays Dr. Broggi has talked about honoring your parents, even if they have caused hurt. How do I share my testimony in its fullness with others, while honoring my parents if my testimony includes past hurtful experiences with my parents, and an unwillingness for them to take accountability for, and change their behavior? As a follow-up, is it wrong to distance myself from them to protect myself from future hurt and to protect my children from experiencing the same? For context, I do still talk and interact with my parents occasionally but every time I do, I observe the same behaviors from them. Am I, as a daughter, meant to correct my father or mother when necessary? 

Anonymous - I first want to thank you and Audrey for your ministry. Audrey’s wisdom, conviction, and encouragement regarding biblical womanhood, marriage, and family deeply impacted me. Through her influence, I began listening to your sermons and completed your course on God’s Plan for the Family. The Lord used those teachings to transform my heart. I left my career to come home full-time, invest in my family, and raise our children for His glory. My husband and I also plan to homeschool, My husband is a good man who loves our family and was raised in church, but he does not currently lead our family spiritually and his daily walk does not reflect a born again Christian. I don’t say that to criticize him, nor do I want to judge his salvation. However, I often find myself wondering how to faithfully live out 1 Peter 3 in this situation of an unbelieving or disobedient husband. What are some practical applications for encouraging my husband? He is open to Bible study and praying together, so should I continue initiating prayer and Bible study together? If I don’t initiate, it won’t happen. I never force it and I always ask him if it’s okay if we pray together or read the Bible and he says yes. Or is there a better way to support him while trusting God to work in his time?

Bob, Beaufort, SC - I have a question about John the Baptist is he the last prophet of the Old Testament, I am confused about this because Elizabeth was pregnant with John the same time Mary was pregnant with Jesus and there was a 400 year gap between the Old and New Testament.
