Summary

When Jesus said pick up your cross...what is one's cross. Also who has a good commentary/study on the Sermon ojn the Mount.

A listener asks Pastor Broggi about his feelings about the persecution taking place in the Middle East.

Marie, Arnoldsville, GA - I don't understand the Trinity. God the father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit....Am I to understand the trinity is 3 in one or rather the 3 working as one. Did Jesus look up to himself on the cross? Did the Father look down on himself and say he is well pleased. The bible states Jesus was on earth to do the will of the Father and to make his name known then why are we mostly singing praises to Jesus in church. I am a believer but a bit confused and I need to understand.

A caller wants an explanation of the "gap theory" between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 and also referred to in 2 Peter 3:5-7.

Our next caller would like to know why some people say they believe in an omnipotent God but then doubt He could create the earth exactly how and when He says He did?

A listener has a question about the strange fire conference John MacArthur hosted and whether Pastor Broggi believes it was accurate or off balance?

A listener's devotional references Jesus' being on the road to Emmaus and running into "two disciples,  Cleopas and his wife." In John 19, Cleopas' wife is said to be at the tomb. This listener always thought the two disciples were men, and doesn't know what to make of this disconnect.

Our next caller was having a conversation with someone and he was explaining how the PCA church connects the relationship between infant baptism and Old Testament circumcision. This caller was somewhat confused. Does Pastor Carl know how they tie these together and what does Pastor Carl say about how they would come to this conclusion from Scripture?
