Sue L., Bluffton, SC - I came across a book called the Beauty of Intolerance. It is by the McDowell ministry. What do you know about the McDowell's? Are they creditable teachers of God's Word?

Gladys M. Okatie, SC - I believe that God knows the past, present and forever.  I am a believer, but had a question which I'm sure you have been asked many times before! God must have known that Adam, Eve, and others were going to fail. He hardened hearts for His purpose and He planned to have Judas betray Jesus. So if God knew all of this, why didn't He just stop it before it got worse?  He gave us free will - so He knew we would fail !   I also feel that because the Jewish people are His chosen people, I feel 'left out' because I am not a Jew;  not dismissing Jesus' sacrifice for all of us! Thank you.

Jimmie T., Kimberling City, MO. - During our Men's Bible study this week, we were studying in Genesis about Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael and Isaac. Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away after Isaac was born because of how they were acting towards him. Sarah had asked Abraham to send them away and God told Abraham to do as Sarah asked. Later, God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, his only son, Isaac.

- Here's the question that came up that none of us could answer. How could Isaac be Abraham's only son when Ishmael was the first born?
