Summary

Curtis, Zambia - Pastor Broggi. How do you evangelize in an alcoholic area where by almost every house is a beer drinking house. I ask this because that's how the community where am pastoring is? Please help.

Anonymous, Beaufort, SC (Live Dictation) -  In reference to Revelation 3:5, Pastor Carl, would you please explain what it means to be blotted out of the Lamb's book of life?

Lewis, Beaufort, SC -  Isn’t Easter a pagan holiday and Isn’t Passover the true Christian celebration? In Genesis 12, God instructs us on the 10th day to choose a lamb or goat and to kill it on the 14th day (wed) Jesus followed the Passover exactly as prescribed in Genesis 12 fulfilling the scripture that Jesus was in the grave 3 days and nights. That means he rose at sunset Sat (the beginning of Sunday according to the scriptures) So there is no Good Friday and no Easter. In doing so aren’t we nullifying the scriptures because of our traditions? Shouldn’t we follow the pattern given us by scriptures?

Jim, Beaufort, SC -  Is there a connection in Matthew 27:25 when the people state "His blood be on us and on our children!" and the later seeming denial of such by the Council in Acts 5:28 " intend to bring this man's blood upon us."? If so, the implication being gross hypocrisy by the Jewish leaders. Or was it a defense from the Apostle's assertions " Jesus, whom you had put to death."(Acts 5:30)? Or was the use of "bring someone/anyone's blood upon on us" just a commonly used idiom or expression of speech at that time?

Joseph, Beaufort, SC - Hello Pastor Broggi, I have a friend who is a Catholic and he brought up 2 things that I'm not really sure how to answer. First, on Mary being sinless, I know that all have sinned and all need a Savior, but he uses Gen. 3:15 where it says "I will put enmity between you and the woman" to say the God kept Mary from sinning. Second,  is praying to the saints. He says it's no different to pray to a saint compared to asking a friend to pray for you and brings up Revelation 5:8. Could you please help me find verses to respond to him on. Thank you.
