Summary

What does the Bible say about what happens to people who have heard and rejected the Bible but then are in a car accident and have a brain injury or later in life has Altzheimers. Are they held responsible for the decision they made prior to their incapacitation?

My understanding is that the Bible says that if you tell people what you gave to the cause of Christ then you will lose your reward in Heaven and that your reward is on earth because people are impressed by your giving.  I think you said reporting your giving to the IRS is good stewardship because you save on your taxes and can give more to the cause of Christ.  I take it that telling the IRS is not the same as telling people because you don't actually know the IRS people.  What if you go to the local IRS building and talk to people face to face?  I suppose that would be the same as the IRS in general.  My main question is what about CPA's?  If you go to a CPA and they help you with your taxes and help you save more money on your taxes then they know your giving because you are telling them.  The CPA knows you personally and probably knows other people that you know.  What if they tell other people?  What if when you show your paperwork to the CPA you are proud in your heart to show your giving even though nobody says anything?  Does any of the above cause you to lose your reward in Heaven? Also, if you tell the church/missions/para-church-organization that you gave the money instead of giving it anonymously I suppose the only reason for that is to get a tax report and save on taxes.  However, in the process you are telling people and getting some kind of reward from men as a result.  I assume that back in the Bible days they didn't have all this paperwork and did not tell people they were giving.  Are american christians and christians from other countries that tax-exempt tithes and offerings going to get to Heaven and find that they don't have the rewards in Heaven? Also, if you give to missions and then some people send you a thank you note or say thanks then is that getting reward from men and losing reward in Heaven?I think all this paperwork and tax incentives could make people less prone to give to multiple christian causes (more paperwork), and impromptu love offerings, beggars, people-in-need, etc. (no paperwork), because they are thinking about tax paperwork and tax deductions.  Please comment.

In Revelation 8:1 the scripture states "When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." Does scripture give us the reason of why this silence occurred?

A listener had a discussion with a friend from a Catholic background...the subject came up about saints. This listener tried to explain that all believers are considered by God as 'saints.' But the friend was insistent that unless the individual were beatified by the Pope that they are not saints. What can this listener offer as a convincing argument?

Our next listener would like to know if when God says in the Old Testament "I am" and Jesus Christ says in Jn 14:6 "I am the way, and the truth..." are the these "I ams" the same?

In speaking with a friend, I expressed to him that people who believe in "oneness" theology are not Christians because to believe in God and to accept Christ, you must believe that God is who He says He is -Father, Son and Holy Spirit all existing at the same time as one God in three distinct persons. Please give me your thoughts.

A listener heard Chuck Smith (Calvary Chapel) say to a woman with twins that are conjoined at the head that God would not condemn her if she had an abortion.  This listener would like Pastor Broggi's opinion.

What is Dr. Broggi's insight into what happens to us after we die?

Did you hear Andy Stanley's recenty comments about homosexuality?  Can you give your thoughts?
