Regarding the tithe, should a business tithe, and if so, how much?

When a person is "delivered over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh" due to sin, as the Bible teaches in I Corinthians 5:5, does the Bible give examples of what exactly happens to such people once they are in Satan's hands? Once they have been handed over to Satan, does the "destruction" come quickly or is it something that can take years?

We had a question from a listener who would like to know how you convince someone that the only way to God the Father is through Christ His Son when they don't believe the bible is the definitive word of God.  Do we use scripture anyway or do we inundate them with facts proving the bible is true?  How do we even start or do we just back away and pray?
