Summary

Michael - I was in a debate against a skeptic and they made a claim that Judaism and Christianity copied Zoroastrianism. They said that the Gathas was was written by Zoroaster himself around 1500 BC and they said that because of the language was old avestan and its language was similar to the Rig Veda (also written around 1500 BC) that was proof Zoroastrianism was older and that Judaism and Christianity copied it and that the Israelites borrowed from Persians during the Babylonian exile. I went to Answers In Genesis for this question, but they sent me to you guys because Dr. Carl Broggi wrote the Zoroastrianism chapter in the World Religions and Cults book volume one. I do have that book, but Dr. Broggi did not write about my question. Here is also an article that backs up what the skeptic was saying. https://brewminate.com/zarathustra-the-rise-of-zoroastrianism-in-ancient-persia/ Can you guys please help me with this question and help me with a response to this skeptic?
Thanks, Michael!

Patricia V., Beaufort, SC -  I Love the program, and I've been doing the New Testament Survey. In 1 Peter 3 you were comparing the date of Jesus' resurrection with Noah's landing on Mt. Ararat, Genesis 8:4. You commented that Jesus rose on the seventh month and the seventh day but in Genesis 8:4 it states Noah rested on the seventh month seventeenth day. Did they use a different calendar date after the flood?

Madi R., Beaufort, SC -- I often hear you talk about how we are free moral agents, I wanted to know what your biblical basis was for this?

June C., Beaufort, SC -- We are studying the Temple and all the different sacrifices and observances in the Old Testament in our Adult Bible Fellowship.
What do you feel that our role as Christians will be, if any, at or in The Temple in the Millennium, and after the 1000 years in the New Jerusalem?

Summer F., Arnold, MD -- My husband is struggling with PTSD and I am looking for biblical guidance and your thoughts on bible studies that you might recommend?

Jim, Charlestown, RI - Good morning, Concerning the NASB, there are several iterations. Which one do you prefer? Thanks much! Cordially, Jim.
