Summary
William, Stephens City, VA - By the prophet Ezekiel in Ez 46 we see that the animal sacrifices are reinstated. This seems strange to me since this sacrifice is at the Millennial temple during the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth. Jesus has already died, been buried and resurrected as first born from the dead. He is our true atonement! He is our eternal propitiation for our sins for those who believe on His name. During this time Jesus will be here on earth and governing. Can you help me understand why God, through the prophet Ezekiel, declares animal sacrificial worship is again initiated and attention is not directed solely upon Jesus Christ?
What is the difference between Karma and "Reaping and Sowing".
Gina, Savannah, GA - Concerning Judges 3:12-23, what is the significance of Ehud being left-handed? The story could have been told without mentioning that fact, but I know that God has a reason for every detail.
Ronald, Beaufort, SC - I have noticed many churches are increasingly only recruiting elders and deacons that have money. Why is that?
Grant - I know the Bible is without contradictions, but there are a couple passages that have been bothering me recently. First, Proverbs 16:7 says that “When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” How can this be reconciled with Matthew 10:22, in which Jesus says, “You will be hated by all because of My name”? Proverbs 16:7 appears to be at odds with a great many other teachings in the Bible.
Andy, Savannah, GA - In your sermons on the book of John, you comment Peter is a great leader but not a Pope. I'm guessing you say that is in regards to a misunderstanding people have and think Peter as a Pope? Myself as a Christian follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and not having a good understanding of Catholicism. Can you offer some overall view Catholic versus Christian beliefs and back ground where the Pope came into play?
Chris, Iowa - Hello pastor, just wondering if you have heard or seen the new Christian TV show called The Chosen? And what is your opinion of it?
