Summary

Anonymous - I am concerned about the direction of CRU's campus ministry. My son is attending the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is involved with CRU. I'm not surprised by some of the "woke" attitudes of the faculty at UNC, but I have been concerned that some of this ideology is permeating the CRU ministry, as evidenced by some of the attitudes expressed by my son. Please let me know your thoughts, as I respect your opinion and remember that you used to be affiliated with Campus Crusade for Christ.

Our second question comes from a listener who is familiar with praying to God our heavenly father, but has Pastor Carl ever heard of praying to our heavenly mother...and is this okay?

(Live Caller) - We have a local pastor who says that God is done with the Jewish People and he uses Hebrews 7, 8, 9, and 10 to show that God is done with Israel.  Can you please help me understand this?

Our next question comes from a  listener who appreciates Dr. Broggi's ministry and has learned a lot. This caller asks, Should Christians be concerned about artificial intelligence? Is this something Christians should accept or not?

Terry S., Erwin, TN - I have been listening to your exposition of Romans and have a couple of questions concerning the Calvinistic views and my thoughts on countering them. 1.) I am a father and have two children, I love them very much and want them to love me, too. It seems based on Calvinism, they would have to love me regardless, because they would have to love me. I would rather them love me because they wanted to, not because they have to love me. I think our heavenly Father would want us to love Him because we want to, not because we have to.

2.) If Calvinism is true, then it would seem that God planned for Adam and Eve to fall and not that when Eve was deceived and ate the fruit it was not of her own free will but that God ordained that from the beginning. Then we would actually be nothing more than robots, living out our preprogrammed lives. Just a couple thoughts, I would enjoy your take on them. We met a long time ago when I was a Navy Reservist training at Parris Island in the 90's. Keep preaching the Word in season and out... Together we serve a risen Lord.

JonWade, Beaufort, SC (Live Caller) - Do you have any thoughts on church safety teams, and are there any biblical examples?

Paul L., Savannah, GA -  Do you have information on Calvinism?

Sue S., Bluffton, SC - Hello, Dr. Broggi.  I have been challenged with the verse 1 Tim. 2:12.  My belief is that what Paul said is inspired by GOD and means WOMEN, then and now.  The challenge is that this does not apply to women today but to the oppressed women in Paul's day.  My discussion included that the Bible is relevant and that we are to take what Paul said as a command from the Holy Spirit's inspired message... That the Bible did not speak just to those in the past but to all of us throughout time.  Further discussion led to the statement that women today are "free".   I was then told to work on studying to learn "that I was wrong" and that women today can teach men. Further, that "Jesus had women disciples and those disciples taught men". I've heard you give the answer but would like to have you say again how I should respond.   Thank you for your commitment to GOD and HIS Word!
