Summary
Terry, Beaufort, SC - My wife and I are Christians and we have a piece of property we are selling. An offer has been made by, what we have come to find out is a lesbian couple. Should we proceed with the sale?
Alberto, Savannah, GA - Regarding Romans 8:1 does it apply to Christians abiding in Christ or Christians professing Christ?
Warren - Mark 4:12 is interesting as is Is Mark 6:9. Is that the way people or does God direct this like Pharaoh? Even though it seems to say His disciples could understand they didn’t ever appear to be able, so they got special help. Did Jesus tell them to take a staff or to leave it behind?
A listener bought a book titled "The Pre-Tribulation Rapture" by Allen Beechik. What does Dr. Broggi think about this book?
A caller says that he has heard there is a movement today who say the Jesus is not the real name of God but that He is called Immanuel. Has Pastor Broggi heard of this?
Kathy, Savannah, GA - I am an older woman, mid-sixties, who feels secure in the knowledge that I belong to Christ, and I truly know that I am saved. However, I find myself struggling with my inability to be patient with the outside world. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a recluse or anything. I have friends and family, and I am generally a very happy person. I suppose I feel that I should feel more natural love for my fellow human beings, but it is very difficult for me. I feel anger at what the world is becoming and I suppose I let that anger encroach on my thoughts when I am out and about, or when I watch the news and so on. I see people having children and expecting the government to pay for their care, I see people who expect special treatment for whatever reason that they can dream up, and others who just act like they are the only people who matter in the world. I know that God loves me, but I want to please Him, and I wonder how much “love” I am expected to come up with for this crazy, crazy world. I am afraid I sound petty, but this is really bothering me.
