Summary

Yufan Shi, Bellevue, WA - Is it okay to lie or practice trickery or deceit? We see numerous examples in the Bible where God seems to condone some variation of this, i.e. Rahab, David, and  the people of Israel. What about us as Christians if we are in physical danger, is it okay to lie or practice deceit to get out of the situation?
Also, can Satan read the mind of unbelievers. What about planting thoughts and ideas in the minds of unbelievers? How about possessing unbelievers? I ask all this because I became a Christian through a dream in which I heard God the Father screaming at me that I was 'condemned to hell', "but if you accept my Son, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior this will not be your future." I did, and my life was changed forever. Was this a genuine conversion, or am I a false Christian or something like that? By the way, I am a subscriber to the DLM Christian lifestyle.

Christopher, Mississippi (Live Caller) - How should a believer be toward a parent that were not very good?

Stephanie, Portland (Live Caller) - I have a question about asking God for everything even little things?

Josh, Beaufort, SC (Live Caller) - Pastor Carl what do you think about President Trumps' Bible?

Angie, SC (Live Dictation) - When God gave the Aaronic Benediction to the Israelites, was that a promise to all believers or just to the Jews?

Anonymous, Savannah, GA -  I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church. I never knew that there was a Primitive Baptist Church until recently. I did a little research and from what I understand the Primitive Baptist believe in a predetermination of the saved. Am I understanding this correctly?

Jerry S., Ridgeland, SC - If, as Christians, our greatest joy should be to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, why is our will to survive so strong?

Lola, Virginia Beach, VADo all believers hear God’s voice audibly when they pray? A lady in my church told me if I’ve never audibly heard God’s voice that I might have unconfessed sin getting in the way?

Liz, College Station, TX -. I am trying to balance being married to an unbeliever, being a full time wife and homeschooling mom and how to function and serve in the local church. I love Christ and His word and want to be obedient to Him first. I am also trying to balance how to best submit to and love my husband. My husband apostatized from the faith about a year ago. We met at church in college and have been married for 16 years. He had always professed faith in Christ previously. He is a wonderful and loving husband to me and father to our children. He still wants to attend church with us. He is not hostile regarding the Bible or Christ in front of our children. He seems open to the truth at times, but overall seems indifferent and very put off by it. I do not nag him about this, and just pray continuously for him and try to make his life better. We will be moving to eastern North Carolina soon, so I will be searching for a sound church for my family. (Jacksonville/Swansboro area). Can you offer any advice on ways I can personally function in the local church and what limitations I might have given my situation? I have had a very hard time navigating through this. Thank you so much for your ministry and help!
