The Bible Line - March 12, 2013

David, Columbia, South Carolina - My brother is a Mormon and has been for over 20 years. After tip-toeing around the issue for many years I finally spoke to him and asked some questions about the majors differences in Christianity and Mormonism. He was very open but basically said he believed in Jesus and he didn't see the big difference. I know that there is a "heaven and hell difference" because of the denial of the virgin birth, Trinity and that Jesus is God.. We agreed not to have open debate but to start with one question at a time by email. I thought this would be better... Would you give me assistance in this by giving me the first question to ask and maybe some advice through this confrontation ..

An inquiry about a candidate running for Congress.

From Beaufort, SC: I recently left a church that follows the teachings of William Branham almost two years ago. I still have family and friends there, so I started making videos on you tube preaching the Gospel to help them to see their unsound doctrines to little or no success. I found that instead of listening to what I'm saying, people attack my character and say I'm just bitter or mad at the pastor of this church. This is very disheartening, do you have any advice on how to deal with loved ones that believe in heretical doctrines?  The situation at times feels hopeless.

A caller would like to know if a church has female deacons or elders (and in some cases woman preaching on Sunday morning) is this a reason to leave this church?

Sandi, Okatie, Sc - I was divorced from my 1st husband decades ago for unbiblical reasons. I have asked and I believe I have been granted forgiveness from God for my sin. My question is whether my 2nd marriage is considered to be adultery and what am I called to do in following God now. 

Dale, VA - Is the storehouse in Malachi equal to the church in NT? If so, how does one come to that conclusion. What about the curse in Malachi? Are Christians under a curse if they dont tithe?
