Summary
Stephanie, Portland, OR - I just learned of the recent death of John B.Cobb who was a process theologian. I had never heard of process theology but have seen some “liberal Christians” tout his work upon his death. Can you offer any insights into this philosophy and help us be discerning about it? I can’t thank you enough for your much-valued and much-needed help!
Allan, Early Branch, SC (Live Caller) - I have a Question about Sanctification?
Sue, Branchville, SC (Live Dictation) - First she would like to thank Pastor Broggi for his faithfulness to the word. The Pastor in the church she attends is teaching expositional the Gospel of John, but he skipped in chapter 8 the verses 1-11, he said because those verses are not part of the Bible, what does Pastor Broggi think?
Regina D. - Our family attended Community Bible Church years ago and we thank you so much for the Search the Scriptures app. My daughter who is attending Anderson University would like to listen to any sermons that explain the difference between Presbyterian and Baptist denominations. She also asked why are there non-denominational churches? Could you lead me to which sermons or Bible Institute study that would be best for her?
Kelley M. Beaufort, SC - In Exodus 2:24, we read, "God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob”. Certainly God does not forget. Moses wrote the book of Exodus. He was certainly present for the conversation. Scripture is inspired by God. Thus, we can infer that the word is used deliberately. How then are we to understand its use here? What does Moses mean in saying, "God remembered"?
Anonymous, Richmond Hill, GA - Hi Dr. Broggi, Will you please tell us what you know and have learned about the 1599 Geneva Bible; as it keeps coming up with people I know and I wanted to get your take on it based on research you have done. Thank you as always!
Vicki, Bluffton, SC - I have been divorced for 16 years. How does God feel about remarrying the same man after being divorced and separated for that amount of time. He wants to be in my life again.
