Summary
Augusta, GA - In light of what scripture says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." How does this apply to the imprecatory Psalms and is it ever okay for a Christian to pray an imprecatory prayer like Psalm 58?
Bob, Okatie, SC - I have a question about creeds. What is the background on the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed. Why does the book of common prayer have a couple of different versions of the Apostle's Creed. And what is the reference to the catholic church?
Jeff, Rincon, GA - Have you heard of the early 19th-century evangelist Smith Wigglesworth? He wrote a couple books on Faith, as he was a "faith healer," who claims in his books to have risen several people from the dead through faith. I discern there's a lot of problematic claims he makes but I was wondering if you could offer further insight?
Sammy, Garden City, GA - Is using food stamps unbiblical?
Anthony, Beaufort, SC - What do we mean when we say "Glory to God." Also, what does Dr. Broggi mean in his ad soliciting a church property, "If you have a church on the brink of extinction." And would a church like that elsewhere be of interest?
Wayne, Port Royal, SC - God told Moses to speak to the rock but he struck the rock twice, Numbers 20:11. As a results God would not let Moses go into the promise land, Deuteronomy 34:4. My question is, if Moses or other "fathers of faith" were not able to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect., Matthew 5:48, how are we?
