We had a caller who says that he knows prayer is very important. He would like to know if there is a difference between praying when we are kneeling or lying prostrate or just standing. If so, should we as individuals or as a congregation on Wednesday night prayer services, kneel when praying?
Patty, Okatie, SC - Someone told me that they were praying for me because they feared that when I die Christ will examine my life and say that He can not let me into heaven because I have judged too much. He based this on Matthew 7:1-2. I tried to explain that this would mean salvation was based on works or sin which it is not. This person also believes that judgement will be in private with no other people hearing. I tried to counter with what the Bible says about every thought being made know. Thank you
Bill, Concord, NH - Why do you suppose God had the Levites shave off all their hair in Numbers 8? All Scripture is profitable, so what lesson can we learn?
We have a man who came to Christ as an adult. He had already been married and divorced before he became a believer. His first wife is remarried and this man would like to know if Pastor Broggi believes that this man is now free to marry someone else.
