The Bible Line - February 9, 2021

Dereena H., Augusta, GA - In Matthew 17:21, Jesus said “...however this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” when speaking to his disciples about a demon possessed boy. Please explain why this verse is not found in some translations of the Bible and also what did Jesus mean that some kinds of demons can only come out of a person by prayer and fasting.

Neal K., San Padre Island, TX - I think you said Adam and Eve were originally clothed in light and then when they sinned "the lights went out". Is there any scripture indicating they were originally clothed in light?

Bill N., Stephens City, VA - John 14:28 says: "You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. Would you help me understand the phrase that Jesus is saying - for the Father is greater than I? Could that be a term of endearment since the triune God is co-equal?

Could Pastor Broggi please explain Isaiah 42:4...what does it mean "He will not be disheartened or crushed Until He has established justice in the earth?"

Sherry C., Kentucky - Could you please clarify something for me. On last Weds. class for topic 5, part 2 #53 help “ get it” the cross reference between 2Samuel 23:2-4 & Acts 1:6? I’m sorry it’s not out of disagreement it’s out of brain disconnect and my excitement to learn. Thank you ahead graciously. Sunday service was wonderful. I will be back on line Weds. from Kentucky.

Bert - Could you please provide a little help with some resources: (1) Living Godly as a single man your whole life - As a single man at age 37 and never married, I feel God has called me to be single. On the Search the Scriptures web site there are so many great messages available on marriage and all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16). As God has called most to be married, it is understandable that most messages would be for those married, and I've learned much from those messages. I think it would be helpful if I could listen to some messages addressed primarily to single men, like myself.
(2) Are there any STS messages on The Tabernacle and the deeper meaning and symbolism of all the elements and furniture.
- In other STS messages, it sounds like Dr. Broggi taught this maybe many years ago and God willing, would like to teach it again in the future.
- Maybe you can share with me some resources taught by another faithful expositor of Biblical scripture that is readily available.

Stacy, Beaufort, SC - Will you please help me explain to my sister that there will not be a second chance for salvation after the rapture. The bible verses that I believe say this are 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11, are there others? 

Kelly, GA - I would like Pastor Broggi's advice on the Corona vaccine.  How do you feel about younger adults, those of child bearing age, getting the vaccine?  Different articles have been written about harmful things in the vaccine.  Do you want your children to get the vaccine, and do you recommend for them to get it?  Do you in your gut feel that it is safe for all age people?
I know it has not been expanded to younger people yet, but if they are a health care worker etc, these younger people can receive it now.  Do you think it is fine to get?
