Hailey - I can't seem to plainly read 1 Cor 11 without feeling like I should be wearing a head covering. It seems clear to me that it's not talking about hair. I believe I have heard you say that rings are the modern day comparison to the head coverings talked about in 1 Cor 11. But how does that fit the criteria in that men also wear rings so there is no distinction between them and the women. Men and women wear rings regardless if praying/prophesying It says the symbol should be on (or not on) the head (like hair). I don't wear a head covering, neither does anyone in my church or friends. I know God looks at the heart, but I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on a blessing (and my husband,and church as well) by not practicing this symbol like we do other symbols such as baptism and communion.  Thank you so much.
