Summary

A listener in California - What are Dr.Broggi’s thoughts on kombucha? A friend gave me some and it felt similar to alcohol. I have been sober for years now and I was convicted with how it made me feel. My husband is still making progress to become sober and I don’t know if we should keep this in the house or if this may help him completely quit. (Alcoholism runs in his blood and he’s been making great strides, with Jesus’ help, to quit and become sober minded.)  I asked our senior pastor's wife and this was the response:
“We have had kombucha before & we do not believe there is anything wrong with drinking a small amount of alcohol… unless it goes against your convictions. (Vanilla & Nyquil have alcohol in them too.)
There are examples of drinking small amounts of alcohol in the Bible, yet it clearly speaks against drunkenness. You have liberty in Christ. However… Don’t ever do anything against your biblical convictions based on Scripture or cause anyone else to stumble. Romans 14”
I agree and also disagree. I drank a small bit hours ago and it still is changing how I physically and mentally feel. Is this where, this may be a conviction for me and our family vs others that may be able to freely partake? Thank you!

Robin, Seabrook, SC - (live caller) - Greg Lawry, Unity and diversity.  Friends and family members watch and listen to Bethel, Elevation, Hillsong, and Movies such as the shack, The Chosen, Beth Moore etc....  All Secular Media in general?  How do we defend the faith without offending others?

Alberto, Savannah, GA - (live caller) -  Woke culture, who is responsible?  the Pastor, or the individual?

Live Caller - I was a Catholic, but now I am a born-again believer.  My question is about the Roman Catholic Church, are there Catholics who are born again?

Abby, Beaufort, SC - I have an adult family member(sibling) who is willfully living in sin and claims to be a believer; should I as a believer associate with this person? Is it different when it’s family who are living in sin? What about family get togethers etc- if this person is invited should I bring my family (young children) around them?
