Nick, Beaufort, SC -  Good morning! I have been digging deeper into the study of Isaiah's writings and in the process come upon something referred to as duetero-Isaiah. I'm aware of what duetero means, but I've never heard any valid talk about a 2nd anonymous author, or a later date of writing from an author in exile. Would you please elaborate on where this sort of thing originates, and what your personal beliefs and thoughts are on this troubling subject. As always I greatly appreciate your time! Sarah, Okatie, Sc -  Is a person whose political beliefs are liberal saved? I have a friend who claims she’s a believer and a Christian, but she affirms transgenders, homosexuals, and thinks abortion is okay. I don’t believe that someone who is saved can affirm the things that God says are evil and sin. I am very concerned about my friend’s salvation.

Carolanne, Bancroft, Michigan -  My question is on the inerrant or just authoritative Word of God. We had a discussion that only the original manuscripts are the inerrant Word of God, and that there may be errors due to translations being made and if pressed to say our bible translations (we use NASB and ESV) are completely inerrant would be incorrect. The explanation for this being the book of Mark about the women caught in an adulterous relationship. I have believed that it is the inerrant Word of God, and that this statement is just getting hung up on technical terms than foundational truths. The difficulty I have is that it seems to cause confusion and leaves room to doubt the Word of God, especially when trying to witness or disciple, and I am seeking for understanding and wisdom on this issue. Ali, Magnolia TX -  Have you listened to or heard of the “Streetlights Bible”? It is a dramatized reading of scripture, word for word, however it is in New Living Translation. We prefer to use NASB, NKJ, and ESV. We were curious on your thoughts after listening to a chapter. It is a ministry that started in Chicago and has been used to reach many because of the way it is spoken and delivered. We are not fans of hip hop, but we have started listening to it when physical reading is difficult for ages (3 kids 5 and under). Everyone stays engaged and the kids even ask for the next chapter. We do still read from our preferred translations. Is it wrong or foolish to listen to this translation? We are able to stay more engage with this specific audio reading when driving, walking, and on the go. We do not want to tickle our ears however. I have been trying to check it against my NKJ bible and I do notice discrepancies, however does the benefit of daily intake of the Word outweigh this translation’s word choice?
