If a person goes to a mainline denominational church and does not hear the plan of salvation, will God hold them responsibleor will they have another chance to hear the gospel? Also, what happens to babies that die before they have had a chance to hear the plan of salvation.

Lee from Connecticut: Is there a version, or versions of the Bible you recommend or would recommend avoiding?  It seems as though the debate can become very contentious, and cover a wide spectrum from "The Message" to KJV only supporters.  I would like the most "accurate" version, if such a thing exists.
