The Bible Line - December 7, 2021
Series:
Summary
Bob G., Bluffton, SC - I heard someone on the NRB Network G3 Program say that Jesus used scriptures written in the Greek. That doesn't sound right. I've always heard the OT scriptures in Jesus' day was in Hebrew. The NT used after Jesus was mostly Greek. Please straighten me out.
Mikayla K., Beaufort, SC - Is the Anti-Christ Satan or someone controlled by Satan?
Gabbie R., Australia - Hi Dr. Broggi, Since being saved I’ve always believed in an inerrant view of scripture. However, I’ve been trying to do more study on the Bible should I be asked to give an account for what I believe. I downloaded a document from a seminary, which said that they believed the Bible was the word of God. However, the resource I download then stated that there are irregularities in the Bible, which means we should just focus on the big picture and overall meaning. The irregularities they put forward are: ‘The same event can be attributed to Satan or to God (2 Samuel 24:1; 1 Chronicles 21:1), to Jesus in vision or to Ananias (Acts 22:14-15; 26:16-18). Paul’s companions stood and heard, but they also fell down and did not hear (Acts 9:7; 22:7, 9).’ I was just wondering if you could help me as I don’t think God would put inconsistencies in his word to his people. Thank you
Marie, Savannah, GA - Hello Pastor, In spite of daily Bible readings, devotionals, radio sermons or studies (mostly 88.7 radio :), and Christian fiction/non fiction books I'm more doubtful than assured of Jesus as my Savior. I feel that God does not draw me as stated in John 6:44 and I want to be with Jesus. Thank you.
Maria O., Loveland, OH - I would like to get a new study Bible. I was wondering if Dr. Broggi recommends a specific version as the best.
