David, Bluffton, SC - What is the appropriate age for a child to be baptized with an understanding of the gospel?

David, Wicklow, Ireland - I have had a lot of problems with the prosperity gospel's teaching, and the so called 'name and claim' gospel. I believe in the sovereignty God who knows what He is doing! what are your thoughts on this?

Kelly, Bluffton, SC - What do people mean by the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit?” I was recently told by a Christian friend that we first get baptized by water into the faith alone, in Christ alone. But later, we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, in which gifts of the Spirit, like praying in tongues, are given to the believer. I was baptized and have been a follower of Lord Jesus, love Him with all my heart, and have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation every year for 10 years, but I have never once spoken in tongues. I’m not sure I understand all this. Please help.

Tim, Bridgeport, CT - Dr. Broggi, While listening to Dr. Tommy Ice on the rapture. He said that 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 say, "for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first." He said the earliest translations of the Bible have it as departure, not apostasy. Would you know more about the translation? And if that is correct? I have never heard of this before. Thank you so much.
