Summary

Courtney M., Yuma, AZ - What would be your advice for a Christian who is invited to participate in a bible study by Priscilla Shirer or another similar teacher? It seems that her teaching stretches beyond scripture and I'd like to decline the invite politely but possibly also share the truth (in love) about teachers like these when the opportunity arises. God has been sharpening my discernment over the past few years but not long ago, it could have been me; so easily deceived by false teaching!

Kathy W., Fort Lawn, SC - What is a good Expositional commentaries to purchase. I would like to have hard copies. Please reference some good study tools to add as well. I am not seeking the internet version.

Brook E., Beaufort, SC - Galatians 5:19-26 In 5:19-21 the Bible explains the deeds of the flesh and how those who practice them will not inherit the kingdom of God. Then it says in 5:24 that those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh and it’s passions and desires. Since many or I would say all Christians struggle with the deeds of the flesh will you help me to understand what these verses mean? How do we as sinful Christians, who do the deeds of the flesh, line up with the last part of 5:21 where it says those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God? And again in 5:24 it says we have crucified the flesh, but I know we as fallen sinful people are unable to do that in our earthly bodies. If I read this passage black and white it seems as though there is no room for failure. But I’ve read the whole Bible and I know that all the men and women failed/sinned and were forgiven of those sins. Please, help me to understand what Paul was trying to say to the Galatians and I’m assuming to all of us. Thanks!!!

John G., Manchester, NH - Where did Abel go when he was murdered by his brother? Since Abraham's bosom was not mentioned or established yet? Thank you brother.

William H., Walterboro, SC - Where during the tribulation period does the rapture take place. Pre, mid, post. We love you pastor for all of your efforts and study of God’s word and help his sheep understand the Truth. We listen to your Radio Station every day and pray for all of you at your ministry.

Anonymous - What is wrong with the modern evangelical church?

Grant M., Mt. Pleasant, SC - You have argued that Leviticus 19:28's prohibition on tattoos is part of God's moral law, not His ceremonial law, and hence this prohibition still applies to Christians today. Do you believe that Leviticus 19:27 is also part of the moral law, and hence it is a sin for Christian men to trim their beards or sideburns? If not, why not?

Anonymous, Richmond Hill, GA - Hello Dr. Broggi, so many teachings are being argued about more lately- rapture, “once saved always saved”, etc., now many saying John MacArthur is a false teacher for saying you can repent from taking The Mark of the beast and still be saved. Will you please address this? I’m certain of your answer to this (you cannot take the mark and repent and be saved), but can you give your take on Pastor John and what he said?

Jim W., Charleston, RI - I would like a clearer understanding of what the Scripture teaches concerning local church autonomy as opposed to denominational organization.
