Series:
Summary
April M. - In proverbs 22:20 it talks about 30 sayings in the ESV, it doesn’t say this in the NASB 1995, or the KJV. Some commentators speak of 3 things but…I cannot figure this out on my own. Can you help?
In Luke 21:25-32...is the fig tree representing Israel and specifically Israel as a nation (which occurred in 1948)...and also will this be the last generation?
Alberto, Savannah, GA - Some pastors say they don't see America in the end times. Could this country be overthrown and be called another name?
A listener attends a church regularly, but he has a friend who is a pastor and the caller periodically attends his friend's church. He has become aware of a member of the other church who uses marijuana (and believes he has the liberty to do so). This listener's conscience is troubled about whether to continue to fellowship with the members of this other church.
Kaye, Beaufort, SC - What does Pastor Carl know about Andy Woods, the pastor of Sugarland Church and president of Chafer Theological Seminary.
Quentin, Beaufort, SC - What is the difference in an idol and a statue. I have collectable statues and I don't know whether it is Biblical to have them. Are all idols statues, but not all statues idols? And can idols be more than statues (ie anything worldly habits or loves), or is idolatry only something worshiped?
How does a Christian know if they are truly saved? And can a true Christian have doubts about their salvation?
