Summary

Lawrence B., Carlisle, PA - In your sermon titled A Glimpse of Heaven you mentioned a book that you wrote proving the Bible is true and accurate and can be trusted because of prophecy. I'd love to buy a copy, but I can't find it on your website. My question is, What is the title and how can I order a copy? Thank you very much for the time and attention. Praise God I am a believer.

Live Caller - Where can I access information on the books that are named the Apocrypha, what are they, and how many book s are there total?

Alberto, Savannah, GA - I use the word victim, or I feel like a victim with the things that I have been given by Christ.

Anonymous, Beaufort, SC - Isaiah 65:17-25 refers to the new heaven and the new earth. I understand that there is a difference between the millennium reign and the eternal kingdom, but I was confused in regards to what this passage was referring to. Also, I would appreciate if you touched on whether there will be new offspring and death in the millennium reign. I appreciate your willingness to help us understand the Scriptures.

Michael B., E. Falmouth, MA - In a Bible Study with my Pastor last week, he mentioned tithing was more like 23.5% in the Old Testament. My question is what does the New Testament say regarding tithing and what guidance should I take from the entire Bible on my tithing? My Pastor explained, as I see it, there were three tithes in the Old Testament: 1) one for the maintenance of the Levites, 2) one for the feast and sacrifices, and 3) in every third year a tax for the poor. This means that in two years they were to give 20% and in the third year 30%. That is an average of 23 1/3 percent. The three different types are as follows: 1. The Levitical, or sacred tithe (Num. 18: 21, 24). 2. The tithe of the feasts (Deut. 14:22-27). 3. The tithe for the poor (Deut. 14:28, 29).

Bert, Bluffton, SC - Dr. Broggi, expounding upon your wonderful Resurrection Sunday message, do you think one possible explanation of why Jesus wasn't immediately recognizable in His first appearances after His resurrection was that He still had many scars from the horrific punishment He endured just before and during the crucifixion? We know His resurrected body had nail scars. Then, we know in Revelation He looks differently than He did before His Ascension in Heaven.

Keith M., Paintsville, KY - Pastor Broggi I would first like to thank you and Community Bible Church. You have been one of the greatest blessings to me and my wife. We have said our next vacation will be to come visit your church. My question is in the book of Revelation. When do the two witnesses appear? In the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation or the second 3 1/2 years. Also are the 144,000 starting their ministry in the first 3 1/2 years?
