Summary

Hi Audrey, I've been following you and Mothering from the Heart for the past year now. You truly have influenced my life as a believer, wife, and mother. So I have a question... have an 18 month old son and one on the way. I've heard you talk about when you used to homeschool your children; however, I'm curious as to what your rhythm/routine was when they were little. I stay at home with my son, and I'm kind of lost some days on using our time well. I do involve him in household chores (he loves to help with laundry and dishes haha!) and we of course read and play, but sometimes it seems like the hours go by so slow and the days are long. My husband works offshore for 2 weeks at a time. When he's home, the days don't seem as long, but when he's gone, I sometimes struggle with the monotony. I know being at home is my mission field, and my time should be spent growing/investing in my children, but I guess I'm just looking for some advice/guidance on a good rhythm/routine. Sorry for such the long message. Thank you!

Audrey also discussed time with toddlers, discipling/resources for tween girls, teaching/modeling Biblical womanhood, and discerning women teachers
