Summary

How does one draw the line between self-focused/flesh-driven cosmetic procedures such as lip/tummytucks/facelifts/etc and the more common everyday things women do like make-up and hair coloring, etc.

Does it all just come down to our focus and motives or is there a clear difference between the easy stuff and the more extreme?  What is your perspective?

It really saddens me to see mothers who dress up their 5 and 6 year old girls and pose them for Face book and people think it is cute? It is hard for me as a Mom and Grandma to understand how they cannot see the danger in this – If I make a comment I am sure they believe I am “out of touch” but as I look at these young innocent faces looking and posing what to me is sensual – have dressed and I don’t know how to address this issue – the danger of it.  How would you address this in a loving attitude to an unsaved young Mom – and of course their dress is not modest either. Should I even make a comment on Face book on the photos? Or let it “go”?  Thank you

Please explain your thoughts and the Bible’s perspective on why having children is selfless.   We are expecting our 4th child and I would be fine to have another after this if it is God's perfect will and plan for us to do that.   Having children and a large family has always been a desire of my heart that I believe God placed in me.   My husband thinks I am being selfish by always wanting more.   I think having children is the most unselfish thing you can do, and he thinks by me wanting more that I am being selfish.   Please explain your thoughts on this and what you think God thinks about this and what God's word says about this.  I know he commands it, and every where children are a blessing and gift and He is the one that opens and closes wombs.   Of course I would only want another one if that was God's perfect will for our lives.   But I certainly do not want to close that door permanently.....I want to leave that up to God.

What is a good devotional book to use for daily personal bible time for men/fathers/husbands and I would like to know one for women/mothers/wives?
