Summary

Ryan from worcester, MA - In 2 Timothy 3:16 when Paul says all Scripture is inspired by God. Is paul only reffering to the Old Testament because the complete New Testament had not yet been penned. Although I believe the New Testament is inspired and divine, how exactly does this verse apply?

Paula from Portland, Maine - I so enjoyed your Search the Scriptures message a few weeks ago, and I agree with you, especially about people claiming to go to Heaven and back (out of body experience). I know the Bible says it is appointed once to die. However, what about miracles? Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead........and others. People do raise people from the dead today. How does that work in with what you said? I am not being wise. I just was wondering this myself because as I said, I agree with what you said.

Why was it necessary to have 12 apostles, such that Judas was replaced by Matthias?

Are there apostles today?

A question on biblical inerrancy.

Please explain Ex. 4:24....why was God angry with Moses. Was it because he hadn't circumcized his sons? Why did He seek to kill him in the middle of his instructions to the Israelites?

A listener was having a discussion with someone and that person was using Matt. 20:1-16 to say that we will all have the same rewards in Heaven. Could you explain what this passage is saying so she can explain this to her friend?

The Bible tells us that God will wipe away our tears in heaven...will there be tears at the Bema. Is the "judgement for deeds" for the saved, the unsaved or both?

How do you explain God to a 4-year-old? He knows Jesus is God and was man and that God the Father was not a man....how do you explain all this so he can comprehend God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit at his age?

In Gen. 35:10 God renames Jacob, "Israel": "Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name." Why do we continue to see both names used?
